Fix PinePhone Pro when unable to boot due to drained battery

Hi all, weirdly my PPP has been in Maskrom mode for about 20 hours to charge the battery, and the phone still does not chage. I am starting to suspect a broken Operating System installation.
When I power on the phone, it vibrates, but soon seemingly reboots *or* powers off. The screen does not turn on. I have not tried to see if there is output on the TTY serial.
The following seems to be a reference number people should be aware of: In Maskrom mode when the battery is charging, the USB will draw 2.2 watts. But, when the charging is complete, the USB will draw 0.8 watts.
Today when I started charging through Maskrom mode, the PPP drew 2.2 watts for about 25 minutes and then dropped to 0.8
Can anyone confirm these reference values?
