I have nearly no issues except some volume setting tweaks running Mobian, FWIW I also installed the Biktorgj firmware which made the modem much more stable.
This is the master source for Biktorgj's modem work.

It has documentation and fixes(especially for newer modems) and apparently adds hours to battery life on standby.
https://github.com/the-modem-distro/meta-qcom git which is good for looking at bug fixes.
