I use Trixie on my Pinephone (not a Pinephone pro) daily and it works like a charm.
However, there's a part of subjectivity when evaluating the suitability for a daily use. In my humble opinion, the Pinephone under Mobian was already suitable for my daily use in 2020. SMS, phone calls, cameras... are working. I have never seriously considered going back to Bookworm since I switched to Trixie but I can't speak about Pinephone Pro. The fact that you asked "is it ready for daily driving" indicates that we may have different expectations. I won't buy another Android phone for sure.
Sending MMS is still impossible for me. I plan to switch to the open source firmware, maybe it will help.
Deleting a bookmark in Mozilla Firefox only works by pressing Shift + Control + O, by filtering to keep a single bookmark and by clicking on "Delete the bookmark", the star at the right side of the address bar displays the window under the virtual keyboard
P.S: I can take pictures but I can't film yet.
