I compiled uMTP-Responder but found that even using the supplied Mobian config file the program yielded a cascade of error messages when run.

I did find looking at the "issues" discussion on the github page there was a post mentioning there is a Debian "utmp-responder" package. I installed that package but it doesn't seem to work either. I'll take a closer look when I have time.
