Yes, you should go with a normal Power supply. I will not suggest you buy a very cheap power supply because it can destroy your motherboard. For the Controller, you can buy LSI Logic SAS9361-8I - https://www.allhdd.com/lsi-logic-sas9361-8i-raid-card/. I am also using it and it's working fine for me.
