Original Pinephone Beta is good to go as daily driver but IMO it will not work "out of the box".
Alltough It is really really close and there is only one mandatory thing:
if you want reliable phone (as phone
) you need to install Biktorgjs firmware to modem - it is easy and it will not take a long but you have to do this. This is only my personal opinion but I have tried billion solutions and without this PP is not ready for daily use as a phone
