Something like sudo modprobe hfsplus should do it.

I tried that command however i'm getting an error below.

modprobe: FATAL: Module hfsplus not found in directory /lib/modules/3.10.101-0-pine64-longsleep

The image i used was "xenial-pine64-bspkernel-20160507-1"
Has the module been removed in this image, will it be added back or should i grab an older image?
