I forgot I am on the =unstable#how-to-i-switch-to-mobian-unstable]unstable branch because that's the only way to get MMS working. For what it's worth unstable has been fine for me and is currently on Phosh 0.13.0.

I had bad results running unstable on a Debian system, in the long, long wait for Woody. I know that was long ago and this is different, but is it different enough that it won't break something important with every update?
Is it possible to use pins to get just a few packages from unstable, like the MMS program and Phosh 0.13.0? I think I can figure out the pins, but I'm wondering if the dependencies will stop me?

I honestly have no clue if you can just pull a few packages. That being said, I have been on unstable for 6-7 weeks now and using Mobian as my daily driver and have had zero issues. I honestly forgot I was even on unstable. That being said, they are switching from Jessie to Bookworm so we won't even really be getting updates aside from security stuff.

Bullseye will be getting security updates from Debian, while a-wai and team are moving on to Bookworm,

so Bookworm will be where the new features will be "blooming".

I 'believe' that the continued nightly releases will actually be the Bookworm .... perhaps a-wai will make it a bit more clear soon.?
