I have simply packaged his work for Arch Linux Arm (Pinephone) users.
syncevolution in AUR was very outdated and un-buildable on modern systems, and the script had to be hand-crafted.
Now, one can lazily import a .vcf file full of contacts after a couple AUR builds. Beware, syncevolution takes some time to natively build on the phone.
