applications like gvncviewer dont offer visible options to open the on-screen keyboard.
is there a way to open it?
maybe through the bar at the bottom?

kind regards

It would be hugely advantageous to be able to pop up the keyboard at will.  Surely there could be some way to do that?

On Gnome you can just swipe up, and on Phosh and Windows 8/8.1/10 you can press the on-screen keyboard button.
Would be nice if something like either of those would be possible on Plasma (both desktop and mobile).
