(ARCHIVED) Ubuntu Xenial Image (BSP Kernel)
How can I "kill" all the Xorg related processes? Or should I go into init level 1 to free graphical buffers?
Oook, this looks like way better:

Is there any inconvenience to open Firefox? It just worked once and never did it again, I've even reinstalled it from 0 but it doesn't help.
See first post in this thread in the notes of the first release.

Oh God... [emoji23] Thank you, I'll try chrome then. There should be a "Thanks" button in this forum Smile

I couldn't get chrome to work either, I am not sure if its the chip architecture or what there...  If you get it to work let me know what you did, I would prefer to use that over Midori, but that being said Midori works fairly well.  Since it is a pretty scaled down browser it also is pretty quick on the Pine, so that's a bonus, I just prefer to work with chrome as it is what I use most.

Also, I wanted to know how the best way to install the universe repository... I wanted to install i2c tools, which is in the universe repository but I know that I have tried to install repositories and they direct what I am assuming is a longsleep repo directory and give off a 404 error as there is not a repository named "blank" in the longsleep area... jeez I sound like the noob that I am. Anyways can I just,

sudo add-apt-repository universe

to add it or do I have to specifically tell it to go to the main repo for ubuntu?
There is no chrome for arm64. There is chromium but the sandbox is not supported on the outdated 3.10 arm64 Kernel and thus it is insecure and should be avoided. Best option is to run armhf Firefox which works just fine.
Wait is armhf Firefox different from the one installed by your Mate install script? That one does not work consistently.

I want to run selenium with Python and it requires a supported browser like Firefox.

I am not entirely sure how to install specific versions of FF like suggested here. I will Google it but want to avoid any unexpected gotchas.
