strange OS booting issue

Okay, a very weird issue with SFOS.

I’ve had it installed on the eMMC drive for a few weeks. I attempted to install a cell sim card to try it out. The phone would boot just fine. Though, after it went to ‘sleep”, things changed. I attempted to wake it up, and all I was greeted with was the spinning ball.

Though, running from sdcard works as it should

Okay, I thought I may have scrambled the installed OS. Did a fresh download & install into eMMC. It has the same issue, spinning ball trying to re-awaken the phone.

I just flashed mobian onto the phone, and it does not have this issue.

Anyone have any suggestions?

not the same.phone sim in or out. makes no difference

installed a supplied image and a fresh image.

Now, after install and reboot or fresh boot, I get the spinning wheel.

Going to have to agree with you, tentatively.. Running on sdcard at the moment.

Changed bad sim cards. The phone has been running a few hours, and every time I wake it up, it wakes up.
