how can i turn off mobile data?
i somehow have the feeling that mobile data is used whenever it is on.
and since i was not able to disable it, it eats my balance on the new prepaid contract
how can i check if it is on? is wifi higher priorized than mobile data?
Not certain on different variations of OSes, but all I have used you can go into settings and turn off mobile data.
Though if you are not actively using your data, watching video's, browsing or such, I would not expect very much data will be "used" anyhow.

It doesn't help that you don't tell us what DE you're using. With Plasma Mobile you can just press the wwan toggle in the top drawer. I'm not sure about Phosh as I don't use it personally.

Sorry, my bad. Yes it is Phosh
i have "Mobile Broadband" which i can disable. But i am not sure if i want that as i want to be able to recieve phone calls. But i do not want "Mobile data". I dont know if that is the same?
And if i have this enabled, is "Mobile data" on by default? And if so, is this used as default or is wifi higher priorized? Questions over questions... guess i will try plasma.
There is no: settings > mobile

hmm....
I go to 'settings'
From there I pick 'mobile'
next:
( looking under the heading 'Network' )
there I find 'mobile data' and 'Data Roaming'
(looking at the phone now)
