DOA Pine64 ?
#1
Hi,

Just unboxed my Pine64 and attempted to boot it up for the first time.
All I get a is a red led and no video.

I am using a 5v 2.1 amp power supply.
16gb MicroSD card.

I am hoping I am just missing something.
Any advice appreciated.

Can anyone please inform us regarding warranty policy ? I have 4 boards coming and I'm a bit sceptical after the feedback so far.

The Pine A64 will cover for DoA situation.

I never got a post screen on mine either. It just booted into a Pine logo and then the OS and the LED was never any color other than red. But I have booted 3 different OS on it.

Hey Guys,
I noticed new boards start up with RED LED instead of GREEN. Not sure why the change of color (different revision of hardware) but it seems the new boards have red led instead of green.
cheers

mine also has a RED LED. It doesn't indicate the board is bad.

Try attaching a Serial/TTL cable to see what's going on might help.

This is the way the we distinguish the developer and production board. All developer board using green LED and production board using red LED. The is the monochrome color LED, it will change color between red and green.
