Hi, I just updated && upgraded and docker 1.13.1 seems to have a kernel related issue.
Running any image will result in a:

docker: Error response from daemon: Could not check if docker-default AppArmor profile was loaded: open /sys/kernel/security/apparmor/profiles: no such file or directory.
ERRO[0006] error getting events from daemon: net/http: request canceled

The profiles folder does not exist.
Do you have any clue?

I have the Pine64LTS board mounted in the playbox with the LCD screen. There is no SD card slot on the board. I have the eMMC burner and a 64GB eMMC which is actually only 60.xGB according to etcher and Apple Pi-Baker. Will this package work with my setup? If not which one would you recommend. I downloaded and burned a Sopine image. The machine boots to the Sopine Logo screen and stops. I let is run for over 24 hours with no luck. Got the Sopine power supply so it's not that.

There is no SD card slot on the board

There is on the underside of the board. 

And no, only SoPine/LTS images are supported due to different RAM configuration. But there are many good images available for the LTS board. What do you want to run on it exactly ?
If you want ubuntu, then try armbian. You can install XFCE or Mate manually or using armbian's script if you want a desktop...

I wanted to run Android. Is that even available? I will look at the board again. But I bought the eMMC burner device in order to do the programming directly. Is there an Android image that will work? Thanks for taking the time to answer me.

Armbian downloaded and burned to the eMMC using etcher. waiting to see if it boots. so far, 10 minutes now, nothing.

i think you need an image that was made specifically for emmc. if you burn a sd card image to emmc it will not work. look for sopine/lts for emmc.

I have just downloaded and burned image SD of Xenial Mate image from the etcher application on this site - I presume this is longsleeps image?

I am s noob and wondered after boot what are the key things I should do? There is advice around extending the hard drive partition and running Sudo_update etc.

Are these activities still needed and can anyone bullet point them out? I’m hoping to set it up later today

Hey, those images are very old at this point. 

You should use ayufan's images instead.

Because longsleep's images are very outdated at this point, I am locking this tread to avoid confusion for newcomers.

Everyone should be using either ayufan's A64 Linux images or maintained third party OS images henceforth.

Massive thanks to longsleep for getting Linux one the Pine A64(+) off the ground!
