Printing and scanning documents with pinephone?

Printing and scanning documents with pinephone?

I want to print and scan papers from a pinephone pro. I know they are linux machines, but can they handel this? I have epson and brother gear.

I don't want to connect through the network and Internet, but through usb or wifi direct.

Yes it works just like any other Linux computer. I use it with Epson ET-something and just works tm.

scanning the current camera stuff works but the missing libs to convert to an image file currently crash the camera app, scour the forum and I recall there was a post for hand-loading the libs.

Thanks.  Handy to know the camera fails.  I'm trying to hook up a usb printer scanner when need be without going through a second system?

if the printer scanner is in the mainline kernel you should be golden ie if it already works in Debian...
