My new phone stopped working.

G'Day. My new Pinephone arrived yesterday (01/08/2025) and at first seemed to be working then all of a sudden it went crazy. The lettering is nearly impossible for me to read. When I use the Angelfish app I'm told that it cannot connect to a server. I can't even make a phone call with this device. At this stage I'm wondering why it wont work and how to fix it. Perhaps the software (Mangaro) has broken down all ready. Perhaps the device itself doesn't work. Perhaps I need to make an adjustment to the settings. I'm hoping some one can enlighten me and enable me to use this new phone. Perhaps I need to; accept that I've wasted my money, buy another phone and convince as many people as possible to steer clear of Pine64.

 Perhaps the software (Manjaro) has broken down all ready. 

I read of a lot of people have issues with Manjaro.
I read people have had good success with DanctNIX Arch with Phosh, PostmarketOS and Mobian.
I personally use DanctNIX Arch with Phosh.

I have a PinePhone for three years and it still functions well. The battery is now doing less well, but it is still doable with a simple power bank. In addition, there is no damage and the screen does not have a single scratch.

Now I have a PinePhone Pro for a week, but after a few days it stopped working on the phone and sound. The SIM card works properly, so it is something with the software or hardware. In addition, the battery drains quite quickly.

I can't speak for manjaro, but once tow-boot is installed reinstalling a disk image or backing up and reinstalling that backup as well as playing with the file tree of your whole emmc is very easy, I am running Mobian.
