with arch plasma, if the phone rings and the pinephone screen is on standby, I have to enter the phone’s pin code (not the sim card), and often it’s too late to take the call. What needs to be changed so I can take the call without giving the code as with phosh?

Chances are you have solved this by now but I have read in the forums here somewhere that editing a file so the modem doesn't sleep is a potential solution. However the battery drain is supposed to be greater.

In my opinion, the problem comes rather from the need to type the password to answer the call, with phosh it is enough to type on the notification to open the phone, with plasma the time to type the password and the phone is answered

OK I see what you are getting at ... I haven't tried Plasma for calls but in Phosh Arch a graphic appears to answer call and pin / password aren't required. The phone stays locked. That had been my experience with calls.
