Source for telepathy, signal, telegram, OTR, briar and TOX pidgin/libpurple plugins(as well as the bundled IM plugins), and stand alone apps are already up on the wishlist.
They just need to be included in unstable for next build though work on integration will probably be involved until libpurple is ready for drop-in plugin support for mobile devices.

Telegram should work on Pine64, i.e. in some distros I found it pre-installed, but can't register from here because, wait for it, phone number is invalid. Our area codes are two digit and that's probably the reason why it doesn't pass validation. Registered fine with the same number on axolotl.

Hello there,

a little addition: Signal group messaging is possible with Axolotl and will be getting some upgrades with the next versions. nanu-c is working quite hard these days... At the moment, you can be added to existing groups and even create a new one.
