Retroarch on A64

Hi all,
i'm super interested in this arcade game application but....
i got my board with the kickstarter campaign (the 1gb ram) on 2016 and I never succeded to use it:
every os is incredibly slow, navigate the web and play some youtube video is barely possible...
i don't know where I go wrong
I have the original PSU, the wifi/bluetooth module and a 32gb san disk micro sd ultra (tested on h2test writing 25MB/s reading 77MB/s)

I hope that somebody could help me
