Cant update and upgrade mobian.

Hello , I have problem.
I cant update and upgrade Mobian.
In terminal write

Reading package lists... Error!
E: flAbsPath on /var/lib/dpkg/status failed - realpath (2: No such file or directory)
E: Could not open file  - open (2: No such file or directory)
E: Problem opening 
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

No, I install about 1,5 month ago.

You should be able to refresh the apt lists by:

1 Make a backup of your apt lists
sudo cp -R /var/lib/apt/lists/* ~/lists/

2 Remove apt lists
sudo rm -R /var/lib/apt/lists/*

3 Repopulate
sudo apt-get update

Be aware, there was a defect in the boot partition around the time frame you did your installation where you would run out of space and no longer be able to update. Sooner or later you may need to do a fresh installation to fix the problem. Follow the blog. https://blog.mobian-project.org/posts/20...021-03-17/

I see the same notice on occasion, but I think it has to do with the "update Cache",

Sometimes the updates appear before they are released. (?)

I update my daily driver with the Mobian OS every day, I DO see this happen, but it catches up usually within 24 hours.

(as I have multiple Pinephones, I also have one test phone that I run the latest release of Mobian on a sd card, -- first Nightly, now weekly releases.)

Pine would not exist without these great Developers,  but my mission is to prove a GUI User can survive here, 
....or at least "Follow along".... with a working phone.  (Talk, Text, data)

It was a quite a challenge back in the Brave Heart days, but it has gotten much easier since then.
...I have had a 'working' Pinephone 99+% of the time since,  and I have never opened a terminal once.

Needing an occasional Restart is not a big deal for me, I hear Android users and iphone users scream when they must do a restart.
but all phone operating systems do need a restart on occasion.

Most of this thread is quite "DATED"  and most of the problems listed here are from the past.
