There are software problems mostly, and no, the PinePhone Pro is mostly new hardware so if there are hardware issues, they will be *new* hardware issues.
If you're using the browser a lot and use a smartphone like a true smartphone-zombie, PPP.
If you're only checkout out XMPP messages and mails once in a while and maybe listen to the music while riding public transportation, PP.
So PP fits best to me.
