If you build it, but it would be cool to see it on repos.  Not sure if the Pinephone has enough processor power though; Muppen64(Nintendo 64) should work as most games ran fine on even my N900.

I'm on Linux Mint/Debian Edition, using epiphany browser.

Yes, it's possible to play turn-based games on the PinePhone, especially with Linux-based game emulators or native apps available for the platform.
