Any ideas how to get mobile data to work on Manjaro plasma? I'm using Vodafone UK and keep getting a notification ' The modem shows no carrier' and 'IP configuration was unavailable'. I've tried 'sudo systemctl status ofonoctl' and it reports inactive (dead). I've tried to restart ofonoctl but still nothing.

There are some scripts to monitor and restart the modem if you look around. You can also just reboot the phone. Or switch to a more reliable OS.

I also get the "... no carrier" notifications, but it does not have any effect neither on telephony functions nor mobile data connection. Not getting notifications about IP configuration availability though. Using Manjaro Plasma Mobile here. |
