touch screen not working

Ive seen some similar posts but im new to android and PINE64 as a whole. Can anyone point me to the troublesjooting steps oi should take as to why the LCD screen supplied hasnt given me more then a flicker of the screen but eerything functions perfectly through HDMI and remote key board? any help wpould be greatly appreciated,

You may not be using an LCD-supported OS. Are you using the micro SD card that came with the pine? If so, that's an HDMI-supported Android image. Swing by the Android forum and look into AYUFAN's Android 6.0. You can also stop by the IRC Chat and try and get some help there (link at the top of the page)
