Backing up data on Pinephone Pro to hard disk, optical disk and flash?

Backing up to hard disk, bluray/dvd usb, flash?

Hi, I am interested in backing up data to hard drive, optical bluray, dvd and flash? How doable is this on Pinephone Pro.  How to run these devices and power on usb?  Is there software to backup and copy verified and sequential time backups?   Can you backup all the internal data aswell?

Thanks.

Mae a chron job to run rscync I guess would be easiest, I dont know what gui app would do that but there probably is something on Debian repos or compile from a git.

So, it will connect to optical drives and hard disks through linux, but what about powering them?

A gui based solution would streamline things, considering the brain damage.  Anybody know of any good ones?  Android is hooeoess, Windows is next to hopeless just simplistic, lock in stuff, on a platform that monitors.

Powered USB hub, they have a nice desktop convergence hub on the pine website with USB, usb-c, HDMI, and wired eth, jack a good USB-C like maybe a pinepower and you will be good. Wouldn't network mounting be easier though? Leave that glob of hardware in a closet somewhere with an old computer or a Rpi on the net and be mobile. Write a nice script to do everything when you associate with the backup network or whatever. The great thing about the PP is all of the scripting and general linux know-how you have just works from server to desktop to your PP.

I use dar.
http://dar.linux.free.fr/

Open source, backs everything up into one archive for neatness, can split it into slices if you're using optical disks, supports strong encryption with multiple cyphers, has incrementals and decrementals. No GUI needed.
