I was doing some research in the UBPorts forum and discovered why a certain phone (Nexus 5) is not capable of doing VoLTE and wondered how the Pinephone compares in this regard.  Basically, it's because it cannot transmit and receive on both 3G and LTE networks at the same time due to no second diversity antenna. So support was never built out for it.

Can the Pinephone transmit and receive full duplex on both the  3G and LTE bands at the same time?
