What thermal compound will fit better to the aluminum case?

Hi. Could anyone please suggest thermal compound (tape) to apply to the aluminum case?  Primarily, i am just interested in the tape thickness, but will be grateful for the links to concrete models. Unfortunately i can't measure thickness by myself, the box is running 24/7.
