Firmware Update for PinePower Desktop Power Cycling Issue
#1
geometry dash meltdown
I've recently encountered an issue with my PinePower Desktop where it constantly power cycles if there isn't anything plugged into it. I understand from a previous thread that this might be a known issue. Has there been any firmware update released to address this problem? If so, could someone kindly direct me to the update process or provide any tips on how to apply it effectively?

I don't think there's a firmware update mechanism. The impression I get from the wiki is that the PinePower isn't actually designed by PINE64; they do not provide schematics or chip identification, let alone firmware updates.

Your best bet is probably to contact support and see if they can exchange your device for a new one.
