Kali boot issues

Hi there. I recently flashed kali linux to my emmc module and I'm having some boot issues. I booted from an SD card using debian, deleted all partitions on the emmc, downloaded the kali image and then used 'dd' to flash it to the emmc module. After I shut down, pop out the SD card and then power up, the system boots into Kali just fine from the emmc, as expected. However, if I shut my pinebook off for a day or so and then come back and turn it on, all of a sudden it won't boot. I just get a solid red (amber?) light and blank screen when I power up. I've repeated this process multiple times with the same results. Initially I can boot no problem, but then it won't after being off for a while. It almost seems like there's something wrong with the emmc module....
Any ideas?
I may have spoken too soon. It seems there's an issue with PBP not booting after updating with apt-get in Kali, which has been recently addressed in a nightly release. I'm going to experiment with other OS's but assume for now that that was my issue.

Soldering internal Wifi/Bluetooth antenna

Hello,
just did a complete disassemble of my Pinebook Pro. When I tried to disconnect the internal wireless antenna from the CPU Board the socket came off from the board, damage caused. Would like to repair without replacing the CPU Board, are there two potential solder joints (shield/signal) where the antenna can be soldered to ? If it cannot be fixed...USB Wireless dongle seems to be the remaining option.
Any hint appreciared, Peter

brand new manjaro PBP - pacman PGP import failure

Just unboxed my new PBP, and i cannot get snapd (or any software) installed. First, generally speaking, is there a forum post for new versions of manjaro, recently shipped? Would love some kind of "getting started" doc...
`5.6.0-2-MANJARO-ARM`
when i run `sudo pacman -S snapd` it attempts to download a PGP key, and fails every time. Computer has network connectivity, can surf the web with firefox.
i've tried the following command in every possible order:
`sudo rm -r /etc/pacman.d/gnupg/`
`sudo pacman-key --init`
`sudo pacman -Syyu`
`sudo pacman-mirrors -g`
`sudo pacman -Sy gnunpg archlinux-keyring manjaro-keyring`
polkit is active and running.
any information at all would be helpful. can't even install vim right now, and can't get any of the boot images from the wiki to work on my SD..

8 GB ?

Hello everyone
Just wondering,
are there currently any plans on releasing an 8 GB version of the RockPRO64 ?
I've generally been very happy with the PineBook, really a perfect machine to have on the go. I would love to switch to Pine for my main work computer, but that would require a bit more than 4GB as the browser tends to eat a lot of the memory. Really hoping to see something with more ram in the future.

Hey guys,
I just got my PBP last night and I flashed the new 128GB emmc with the image. Put it in the PBP, boot up, went through username/pw, locale, etc., It auto reboots.
It just stays in a black screen. So I went to tty1-6 and switch it back to tty7, the login screen is there, but can't move the mouse or type. So i tried to type and then switch back to tty6 and back, tty7 recognizes it. I had to keep switching back and forth back and forth.
Has anyone tested i3 on the new batch of PBP?
I also try to run the i3 via sd, but it does the exact same thing.
any ideas?

Shipment upgrade to DHL

Greetings,
I placed an order back in March for a ROCKPro64 and some accessories. It later turned out Ascendia stopped shipping to my country and I've been waiting for it to resume.
I was in contact with sales@pine64.org and was eventually offered to upgrade my order shipment to use DHL and have my items shipped for an additional fee. I sent several emails to confirm and request shipment upgrade, but they stopped answering and I haven't got any response for several weeks. I submitted a ticket to the support team, but eventually they referred me back to sales and I have no follow up.
This is getting quite frustrating - any advice where can I reach out to have my issue resolved?
Regards,
Dimitri

Does anyone with Linux arm64 knowledge care to explain if it's possible to compile adb and fastboot for an arm64 architecture using the PineBookPro? The ones available in Debian is of api23 and in Manjaro I believe it's the same or slightly newer but definitely not the latest. I have two Android devices both running Android 9 or 10 which use api28/29 so flashing anything on the pb will cause problems.
