PinePhone Postmarket OS UK users

Hi all hope everyone is doing ok?
So I have a few questions about the PinePhone Postmarket OS.
Does anyone here own or have used the PinePhone Postmarket OS in the UK?
And if so hows that going?
Also the hardware kill switchs?
Do they work the same as the Librem 5 kill switchs that directly cut power to the circuit?
Or are some of the HKS on the PinePhone software based, meaning they ask the software
to stop working rather that physically cut a circuit?
Thanks in advance

Dialpad while in-call

Hello!
I've decided to try using the PinePhone as a daily driver for a while. While I was eventually able to get calling and texting working (though only sms and not mms), there's one major issue with calling.
Oftentimes, companies will tell you to press numbers on your dialpad to choose an option (press 1 for this, press 2 for that, etc.). On my pinephone, these buttons do not work in-call. Has anyone else gotten this to work for them?

Hi, i am so close to having a useable mobian-phone (UBPorts-Edition) and i am totally looking forward to. So thanks a lot for your work! :-)
What gives me a headache is getting mobile network to work.
My carrier is o2-germany and i can register for lte, umts and gsm and calls and sms are working so far.
But as soon as i connect to the internet the modem changes to state "unkown". I need to dis- and enable mobile in order to get the modem to register again.
I got the APN-Setup (apn: internet) of the carriers website.
I tried phosh, modem-manager-gui and mmcli + nmcli. In pureos the modem fails exactly the same.
I am out of ideas for now so any help is appreciated.

Arch Linux Arm --> Kernel 5.8 breaks installation

Hi all,
just did a system update on a Rock64 and the new 5.8 Kernel breaks the installation.
After reboot the board has permanently lit the white and red LED and does not boot-up at all.
To narrow down the issue I re-flashed my eMMC-Module as per alarm Wiki and ArchLinuxARM-aarch64-latest.tar.gz includes only linux-aarch64-5.7.1-1 so I run again pacman -Syuu to update and linux-aarch64-5.8.0-1 was installed and after shutdown -r now the board went dead again with permanently lit white and red LED. Pressing the reboot button or pressing and hold the reboot button on the board brings no change, board still ends up with white and red LED permanently lit.
Any ideas on how to fix linux-aarch64-5.8.0-1 so that it works on Rock64 ?

Hello all,
While the UBPorts included in my PinePhone has nice elements, it does have a major flaw: I can't connect to my phone carrier (I get a notice saying "denied"). For a phone OS this is quite a limitation.
It's not a phone problem, because other OSes do connect OK (Postmarket, LuneOS, Mobian and Arch were tried).
By the way just updated it to what seems to be version 4, same problem.
Any clue?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question :
I would like to flash PMOS to an sd card for a test drive However the downloads say "Installer image"
(The notes say the installer will automatically adjust the install to my eMMC size.)
Can I flash this to my sd card and run the image from the sd card for a test drive Without installing it to my eMMC ?
Thanks

UART->RS232 adapter that supports 1.5M?

I'm planning to wire the RP64's UART to a DE-9 RS-232 port on an adjacent machine once I have it mounted, for easier access to the console. I'm looking around for appropriate level-shifting adapters, trying to find one that supports the RP64's default baud rate of 1.5M. Does anyone have such a device to recommend?
An alternate option is to slow down the baud rate in U-Boot and Linux, of course, but I'd rather have something that will work regardless of software settings that could change. However, that is an acceptable solution if getting a slower adapter is the easier option.
Thanks in advance!

Case backing with no logo

Very minor request:
Can I get a PinePhone case with no logo on the back? I have the UBPorts edition, and the logo is awkward.
I guess you can say I have some vanity about my image My image is preferably without branding. Just plain.
I love my PineBook Pro with no logo on it. I would love to have a PinePhone case backing with no logo as well.
