I have flashed phones (Beta/Pro) with Phosh-Dev and have noticed some of the apps fail to come up. I will try and list them, as I find them.
- Siglo - Looking to interface with PineTime(InfiniTime). Works w. PinePhone Beta not w. Pro
- Megapixels - Camera App - Works w. Beta.
- Portfolio - File Manager - Neither Beta nor Pro activate.
I do daily updates with both phones.
I am using the Pro as my Daily Driver and is working great .
Chatty is interfaced with Contacts and Calls and getting better every day.
Geary is hooked up to my mail domain and I have not found any problem yet.
Still having problems w. Calls app - Speaker Phone not usable - get echo and sounds like water running. Will Start another Thread for Problems, as I find them.
Great work! Looking forward to helping out as soon a I figure out the Dev process.

I ordered my PP back when they were doing the UBPorts community edition and haven't ordered anything since. Does anyone here know the standard shipping time for products to the US from Pine64 right now? I recently ordered the keyboard and pinetime and chose standard shipping, for what it's worth. I will be away from home for about a week later this month so I just want to make sure if it falls in that time frame that I can let someone know.

| Pinephone shuts itself down |

Hi,
This problem occurs only when phone is unplugged.
I've set up the phone "Automatic Suspend" to 15 minutes when on battery and turned off the switch when Plugged In (so never Automatic Suspend when the phone is plugged).
"Screen Blank, Turns the screen off after a period of inactivity" is set at "never".
Problem is, when the phone is on battery, shortly after the 15 minutes to "Automatic Suspend", the phone seems to turns itself off. Power off.
I try to connect to SSH during that state, no connections, no ping, phone doesn't respond.
I tried to press the side button and wait around 6 seconds to press it again, still nothing.
The only way to get the phone back to work is hold the side button long enough for the small green led to lit then, the phone reboots.
I had this problem a while back (months back) but it did seems to have ended but now, for 1 week, that problem is back.
Im using Mobian with Bookworm on SSD and all the apt update apt upgrade frequently. 32gb phone model.
Thank you all in advance!

Selling Pinephone Convergence Edition. The phone itself is in mint condition, but without the usb-c cable, since the one which came with it was not working. It currently has Arch installed on it.
The price is USD$150 + shipping if you are not in Singapore.

Now that the keyboard is finally available I'm ready to give the phone another go. Right on time as my current android phone's screen has cracked and it's on it's last legs, so I intend the pinephone to become my daily driver. I have a 3Gb manjaro community edition phone that I got about a year ago, but wasn't able to jump into it as much as I had hoped. I hated doing terminal stuff on a touch screen and other things in my life made me table it for the moment.
So now that a physical keyboard and more battery are on the way let's try again. I'm a bit overwhelmed on which distro to try out so I suppose I'll start out multibooting to see where it's at. I use Ubuntu on my desktops and Debian on my server, and have dabbled in Arch in the past. Arch seems to be in a good place right now on the PP, but the names I'm hearing most often around here are Manjaro and PmOS. Any advice on what to focus on for starters? I've also seen that it's not enough with choosing a distro, but that the UI can have multiple versions in each distro as well (AFAIK like GNOME, KDE, XFCE, right?). Here I'm seeing most people using Phosh, some Lomiri on manjaro and Sxmo on PmOS, but I don't really understand the advantages/disadvantages of one over the other.
Things I mainly use my (current) phone for: - Reddit
- Quick browsing for stuff that comes up
- Podcast/music listening (With Podcast Addict). Can be both by bluetooth or by jack depending on the situation.
- Comic/Manga reading (using Tachiyomi), sometimes PDF reading.
- Navigating the city (OsmAnd for everything except public transportation)
- Receiving emails from gmail and protonmail
- The usual phone stuff with contacting people. (Discord, Telegram, Whatsapp, Slack)
- Controlling Sonarr, Radarr, Bazarr, etc. using nzb360
And other stuff that I wouldn't really miss if not available. Now I realize not everything works yet on the PP and that's fine, but starting out from the most developed place would be preferable. I also plan on (someday) adding a small homeserver on a raspberry pi to handle matrix bridging and other such stuff
Any advice on all this? really pumped up again
