| Everytime I go away from my Rock and come back later my TV shows "No Signal" |

Hello,
I am currently using the ayufan AndroidTV OS and previously was using the Raybuntu LibreElec build. I am experiencing the same issue on both OS. I am only using the Rock64 for Kodi. Whenever I am done watching something and I come back to it later, my TV always without fail says that there is no signal. I am under the assumption that it has crashed so I just press the reset button to get it back on.
I'm wondering though, is the Rock putting itself into some kind of suspend/sleep state? If so is there a way for me to disable this function so I don't have to press the power button every time I want to use it?
Thanks for any help!

I based this image of xailus Gentoo image, found here https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?...ght=gentoo
I used this upgrade procedure found here on server_fault, (answer with 5 upvotes)
It uses the new Gentoo 17.0 profile
~arm64
gcc version
[1] aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu-7.2.0 *
binutils version
[1] aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu-2.29.1 *
glibc version
ldd (Gentoo 2.26-r3 p4) 2.26
As this uses the experimental branch it's advised to keep this system up to date.
Regular
Quote:emerge --sync
Code: emerge -uDU --keep-going --with-bdeps=y @world
To download this image
Quote:git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/pine64gentoo/code pine64gentoo-code
It's sized for a 32gb sd card and LZMA compressed.
Next job is for the installing the mainline kernel which is being tested.
Happy compiling!

Hi everyone,
Just received my Rock64 board, and as a test tried many software images. I noticed a common problem in all these distros including new 4.13 kernels.
When a USB3 device is plugged the kernels go into continuous fault:
Code: [ 76.451860] usb usb5-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?
[ 76.452493] xhci-hcd xhci-hcd.0.auto: Cannot set link state.
[ 76.453042] usb usb5-port1: cannot disable (err = -32)
Can someone please explain the root cause of this, and a possible solution.
Many thanks

| Pinebook using the Rock64? |

What are the chances of a premium Pinebook using your Rock64 SBC design?
As I see it, there are several advantages to a Rock64-based design.
- Rocketchip has moved beyond binary blobs that Allwinner requires
- Larger RAM support (up to 4 GB)
- USB 3.0
- GPIO pins
- Uses the same pluggable eMMC storage modules as other Pine64 products
Another thought is that this could be a modular notebook which incorporates the actual Pine64 Rock64 with an adapter board for the display, keyboard, and the trackpad.
What do you think?

Hello all!
I'm hoping I'm missing something simple, but I'm having a hard time setting up WiFi.
I've created a wpa_supplicant.conf and filled it with my network details, and created wlan0 with a similar config to the wlan1 file, and yet couldn't get the WiFi to start.
Also tried a guide for Raspberry Pi 3 (at-least-you-tried.jpg) as well and had no luck there (no wiconfig tool?).
Is there a guide to setting up WiFi on the minimal installs, or are they designed to only be set up using an Ethernet adapter?
