Good morning to everyone..

There is already published some PDF with a sketch of the measurements in mm of the [url=https://forum.pine64.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=99][/url] ROCKPRO64 SBC board and
the location of the connectors.  

it's 2D better, I still work in 2D and 3D files do not work for me ..

I know that the general dimensions are 133 x 80 x 19mm..

Hey has anyone tried working with tensorflow? I've tried installing it on armbian but keep getting stuck or it throws errors that seem to be unreasonable at me, albeit I'm a noob to armbian and most of Linux.
If it actually is completely impossible to install tensorflow at the moment on this platform, what inexpensive microcomputer can run an operating system that is supported by tensorflow? Thanks in advance![Image: d8479e5918904ce6f4bde9f7bfc0b3d0.jpg]

  Chassis Always Warm Around Camera?

Everytime I go to boot up my Pinebook I find the chassis to be curiously warm in the area surrounding the camera. Is there anyone more familiar with the internals than I who might have a sense of where this heat is bleeding over from? It's very strange.

I found the CPU of PINE A64-LTS is R18 instead of A64 CPU on PINE A64+, Can I use Win10 IOT image with R18 CPU pine board without problem?  Huh

Hi all,

I'm a noob here, so please go gentle!

I have a dnsmasq server (DHCP disabled) set up on my network which currently supplies Centos7 to a handful of i386 machines. This works perfectly!

I would now like to also boot my new Rock64 machine off the same server.

My problem is that I have no idea what files to install into the tftp directory to accomplish this.

I know that I need to configure the 'main' DHCP server (Windowz) to point at the correct file (not pxelinux.0).

I have loaded u-boot into the board's rom and it loos as though it is talking to the DHCP server...

... that's where I'm up to!

1) What files do I need to copy into the TFTP server? I am looking to install  https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-b...m64.img.xz

2) How can I tell that the machine connecting to the DHCP server is a Rock64?

A part of every SBC community will always want to use the device as a desktop 'replacement'. Starting with ayufan's 0.6.25 build much of the things people seek in such a desktop replacement are finally available and working. That said, please remember that until 0.6.X is labelled as 'pre-release' certain features - or the entire OS image - may not work properly or at all.  

Here is what you do. I suggest using an eMMC or external USB 3.0 HDD rather than a SD for best performance. Download the latest Ubuntu Xenial or Bionic (I've tested Bionic only) and install the LXDE desktop using the script in /usr/local/sbin

The LXDE desktop performs much better than the remaining options I've tried. If you have a high-DPI display, you will also be happy to find that your display resolution is supported and you can switch to other resolutions from the  settings -> monitor settings drop-down menu. Out of the box the experience is a bit bare-bones, which is a good thing as you'll get a chance to theme the desktop and install the things you need yourself. 

The build comes bundled with Chromium, which performs ok, but I suggest installing Firefox because version 57 onward performs very well on such low-end devices. The browsing experience is very smooth by default but you can improve performance further if you wish. Those who want to watch youtube in their browser will be happy that even windowed 1080p video playback works fine in both Chromium and Firefox. 

Speaking of video playback, 1080p video can be played (potentially higher resolution too - I haven't tried) using MPV and SMplayer. If you wish to use SMplayer rather than MPV then you'll need to set it up first. I had no issues with smooth playback.

Help needed - installing Parrot OS on PINE A64+2GB Board

Should I image the SD card with the FAT32 format or what other format?

Does Parrot OS support non HD resolutions? I ask because I only own an old SVGA monitor and a projector that also doesn't support HD resolution. I happen to have a HDMI to SVGA adapter, which I use with my Rpi 2 running Parrot Sec OS without a problem, but my experience with PINE A64+2GB Board has been totally different, since I haven't been able to even make it work.
