| respeaker hat on rock64 |

I have a raspberry pi respeaker hat I want to use on the rock64, but their install scripts only work on the raspberry pi. It looks like most of the script is easily modified to work on the rock64, but I'm not sure about the DTB file. I decompiled it and it's over my head. What is needed to make this compatible with the rock64?
This is the decompiled overlay file:

Hello,
I've had a problem with the write speeds I'm getting over wired connection, I'm only getting about 2-4 MBps at best, when I expect at least 60.
I'v installed auyfan's stretch-openmediavault-rockpro64-0.7.10-1072-armhf, the device is connected to a gigabit router, also tested connecting it directly to my machine with similar results.
I'm suspecting it had something to do with the Realtek RTL8211 driver not installed correctly,
Code: root@rockpro64:~# ethtool -i eth0
driver: st_gmac
version: March_2013
firmware-version:
expansion-rom-version:
bus-info:
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: no
supports-eeprom-access: no
supports-register-dump: yes
supports-priv-flags: no
Is there any way to try and install the correct driver for this chip?
Thanks,
Omer.

| Memory addresses of GPIO pins |

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to read GPIO output and using Rock64's RPi module is too slow as it is using file system.
Does anyone know memory addresses of those pins? I'd like to map directly and hopefully it will be faster.

| MMC and SD? |

Is there any reason you can't install an OS (Debian please) on the MMC and keep the SD for data that you might want to plug into another machine? Don't know if they're both mapped to the same address or something. Maybe it's been answered before.
I would expect to do a dmesg when booted from the MMC and see a new device had been attached then be able to mount the partition(s) on it manually. (Oh, that's right, it isn't kosher to hotplug an SD card, but like a USB stick or drive or SD in a USB reader.) Or maybe boot from the SD as an alternative to what's on the MMC. I've never had an MMC.

First of all this is my first sbc and I might not doing somethings properly.tas fan from pine store, 16GB eMMC in NAS Metal Case.
I used "LXDE Desktop aarch64 [microSD / eMMC Boot] [0.7.9]"
1) How do you control the fan?
2) Is there any HW Acceleration? Youtube, daily motion are playing with 20-25 fps top.
I played with some kernels but didn't see any difference (only in sound, the known bug).
3) WiFi module doesn't work. Is this normal? I saw something in changelog. I also upgrade to 0.7.10 by changing apt lists and didn't see any difference.
4) Can't get the SATA PCIe work in graphic environment.
If I press ctrl+alt+f1 and login, I can see the PCIe card (lspci works), I can use parted, format the drive and mount it succesfully.
If I try to use LXDE everything freezes.
If I don't do anything with the drive, even lspci freezes the rpro64.
So my HDD is useless in desktop mode.
Is anyone experience the same problems?
Is there any Linux distribution that works without problems? Any kernel suggestion?

Hi,
I've posted this in another thread:
(10-20-2018, 05:36 AM)jja2000 Wrote: (10-15-2018, 05:28 AM)jja2000 Wrote: I've been having trouble getting my Pine bought PCIe SATA card to work aswell.
It used to show up before but then totally disappear. The HDD spins up but does not show up in lsblk or in dmesg. There's no LED burning on the card. The HDD works aswell.
Doing a dmesg | grep pci gives me this:
Code: rock64@rockpro64:~$ dmesg | grep pci

Okay so I installed mainline and I get a similar error:
Code: rock64@rockpro64:~$ dmesg | grep pci

[ 2.994902] ehci-pci: EHCI PCI platform driver

But it happens a lot less consistently, mostly reboots and a bit of reseating of the cables makes it function again.
When it does work and I try to access the harddrive (either by mounting or by opening a partition manager via ssh) the board (presumeably, because I have no display output on Mainline and no way to read the GPIO pins for serial) kernel panics.
It kinda sucks that I can't use this device as intended. Anyone have a suggestion to make this work?
