low speed wifi

Hello,
Recently, i changed my internet connection to an optical fiber solution. For my internet connection, i use this wifi adapter bought with my rock64. I expected to get an important increase of the bandwidth, but the results are really bad; the maximum speed is: ~8 MBits for download, ~11MBits for upload althought my connections allows much more (on other computers i get at least 10 times more with wifi). I also tested this wifi adapter on a windows pc, and the performances are bad too.
Some one can explain this, or can recommand another usb2 wifi adapter?
regards

Connecting an Antenna

The signal strength is pretty weak so I would like to add an antenna. I thought that the connector was u.fl so I ordered this:
https://www.amazon.com/HUACAM-5-8GHz-Dua...06WD7FZV4/
However, when I pulled the old wires off of the module and tried to connect the new one, the connector is too big. Is the connector on the WIFI/BT module not u.fl? What do I need to get to connect to this board?
Thank you
Actually, now I'm wondering if the connector on the module is w.fl?

Normal baudrate for Rockchip boards

Hi. I got tired of this insane 1500000 baud/s speed, Rockchip made default for UART. I can't use UART for debug/trace normally - no utilities work with this. minicom corrupts output, screen doesn't configure at all. I can't attach the board directly to my machine, because the adapter I can use with it, doesn't work with such speed, I need to attach it through a pine64 board, and there, the mentioned utilities get their pants dirty with this speed too... I was told how to make uboot run on 115200 baud/s. this is by setting the environment variable baudrate (and storing it for the permanent effect, I checked it, rock64 works fine with this speed, let's hope saveenv will work too), but what do I need to do for linux to make it use 115200 baud/s permanently? Does anybody know? I think, this might be useful not only for me, because this poor choice of the speed gives a lot of troubles for others too. many USB-UART adapters don't support it. Just don't tell, I need to compile the kernel! I hope it involves some dancing with DT? I am not a linux guy.
And yet, why not switch to this normal speed for builds? Literally everything works just fine with 115200 baud/s. This would eliminate so much of frustration.

Hi everyone,
I'm using Pine64 LTS for a project. According to AXP803 datasheet Page37 & 38, the charge LED indicator can be set to Mode A or Mode B. Does anyone know how to change this setting via sysfs, or other interface(I2c, Uart) ?
pine@pine64so:/sys/class/power_supply$ ls
axp20x-battery axp813-ac
pine@pine64so:/sys/class/power_supply$ cd axp813-ac
pine@pine64so:/sys/class/power_supply/axp813-ac$ ls
device health input_current_limit online power present subsystem type uevent voltage_min
pine@pine64so:/sys/class/power_supply/axp813-ac$ cat uevent
POWER_SUPPLY_NAME=axp813-ac
POWER_SUPPLY_HEALTH=Good
POWER_SUPPLY_PRESENT=1
POWER_SUPPLY_ONLINE=1
POWER_SUPPLY_VOLTAGE_MIN=4000000
POWER_SUPPLY_INPUT_CURRENT_LIMIT=1500000
Thanks,
JTX

Video : Review of the Pine H64 model B vs Orange Pi3

Hi all.
I've just finished my review video about the Pine H64 model B.
I compare it with the Orange Pi 3, and with the Rock64.
I like the board a lot. It's very well designed, and is sold for a great price.
It does still need a lot of work to make the software better. Luckily there's the Sunxi community who's supporting the H6 with a lot of great open-source software.
This might become a very well supported SoC.
Here's my video.
Greetings,
NicoD

A64-LTS versus the A64+ (1GB)

Comparing the two product pages:
I'm wondering: Besides...
- the eMMC slot on the A64-LTS and
- the configurable RAM options [i.e., 512 MB/1GB/2GB] and the corresponding Ethernet options [i.e., 10/100 or 10/100/1000] on the A64+
How else is theA64+ different than that A64-LTS different?
