Hi,

I own a Pine-phone Pro handset. I have concluded that the firmware packages I have tried on it so far, do not bring it up to day to day usable status. I bought it in the knowledge that its still on the bleeding edge, and some time will be needed to fully develop all functions. It rankles however, to see it still in the box and my old phone still in my pocket..  

Any recommendations on best current firmware, to expect to be able to reliably use the hardware at least for phone, text and camera functions?

Is it possible to encrypt the entire drive? I am assuming that ecryptfs will work so I can encrypt my home directory, but would feel safer if I can encrypt everything to stop data leaking through /tmp etc.

Alternatively, any tips on how to ameliorate the risks with just /home/[me] encrypted? I thought of putting swap in zram (which i do on my desktop) anyway which solves one problem.

I have lost a tablet before... it is a risk that bothers me.

  mobian-base mobian-phone-base mobian-phosh-base mobian-phosh-phone
Is it safe to install them? Full-upgrade usually brake things on testing lol

I got it installed but at even at 100% display it's main page does not show the titles of incoming mail. I can't page lo the right to see them. Is anyone running it with success? Is there a specific help page I can read?

• I want to use my bluetooth keyboard
  
• I want to use WiFi
  
• I bought a 2-in-1 Bluetooth-WiFi-USB-Adapter. WiFi works, but bluetooth does not with my keyboard
  
• I have a Bluetooth-USB-Adapter which works with my keyboard
  
• Only the upper USB port is working in host-mode (from my understanding), so I can only use one adapter at the same time

Hi,

I set up a NAS but I realized SATA hot plug is not working.
Is it a limitation of my SATA adapter or doesn't it work in general?

Looks like I got a ASM1166 chip, but this is odd because the chip got 6 SATA lines but my card has 8 sockets.

this adapter is not optimal because it uses only 2 PCIe-Lanes.
I probably should by a new one. it was cheap, though
