Setup Android 8.1 on Emmc. When I boot all I get is the rock64 splash screen.
Any help please?

Forget about Android on Rock64.
It's broken and not fit for daily use.
Even cheap RK3328 tv boxes get ota updates to solve all the problems and already run Android Pie.
Development boards are supposed to have better documentation and software support than generic devices, but users even have to find and make their own instructions to build Android 8 for Rock64. They will be even more disappointed to find out audio passthrough, root, HDR, 10-bit video playback, Kodi & Amazon Prime Video doesn't even work in the Android 8 images.
Only Linux is very well supported.
