I just started with my rock64 with 4GB today.  Loaded ATV v2.14 r69.  Gb ethernet worked.  Loaded Kodi via Play Store, started updating large library from NAS, then the board started re-booting and lost Ethernet.  Would reboot every 5 minutes or so.  Now loaded 2.15 r77 and still no Ethernet.  Rebooting issue has stopped.  Ethernet leds blink but no IP address assigned.  Any ideas?
I also did the obligatory reboot routers, switches and even changed the cable.

It's look same situation with me. Don't know why and don't know how to solve this big problem. Maybe should change a new one for waranty.

Dunno maybe ATV missed the Eth mac address fix maybe post an issue on github for Ayufan.
Android 7.1 got a fix and maybe ATV missed out.
