I have the Pinephone beta edition with convergence.
When I connect the Pine64 dock to the Pinephone, no matter what OS I am running, the Phosh shell reports the phone is undocked. I get HDMI output and USB connectivity but the OS detects the phone as undocked.
This behavior started when I connected a Dell M-UVDEL1 optical USB mouse to the dock's USB port. Connecting the mouse and moving it causes HDMI to disconnect and once caused the dock to make a weird noise.
Is there a fix or workaround for this, or is it possible that my dock is defective/damaged?
Thank you for your help!
EDIT: This behavior occurred because I did not power the dock via USB-C, after powering the dock using the USB-C cable that came with my Pinephone, it works as expected. This issue is solved.
