My PineTime came yesterday and when I got it up and running I noticed that trying to update the PineTime through IOS (my fiancée has an iphone 11) is nearly impossible I am stuck at the factory firmware and unable to set the time or date, it’s says January 1st 1970! Can someone please give me a small piece of advice I am a complete novice at this kind of stuff and don’t really have an idea what I am doing. Will I need to get someone with an android phone to set the time and date for me?

I have been needing nRF Connect on my android a lot to flash the update.
Also thought I read of an ios replacement for Gadgetbridge on iOS, i could be wrong. I don't use shitty iphones lol.

yeah i can not figure it out i cant even update pinetime through the nrf connect on ios, it connects to the scanner fine but dont know how to update it to have the time and date set
would be nice if there was any info anywhere on the net about how to do it, even if someone out there made a how-to video that would be smashing
nRF Connect for Android can set the time using the GATT feature if the software in the watch supports it. nRF Connect for IOS does not have this feature last I heard. There is an IOS app called GATTBrowser that might do it, but I don't know if the Pinetime software supports GATT connections.
