Default OS update log

Those of you who got your Pinebook Pros, update your installations.

Just spotted the alert on Twitter and have updated as instructed.
The update process is not very "chatty" is it - just creating folder for version 1.1 then after a long silent "think" an instruction to reboot.

Any specific tests or actions required from me to confirm whatever has been fixed?

Is this update/version visible anywhere like in an "about" info box somewhere - if not perhaps there should be an easy way to check current  version.
hovering the mouse cursor over the Pine Menu icon reports "Debian GNU/Linux 9.11 (stretch)"

Its just an update to uboot -- you should be able to boot all OSs, including Chromium OS and Android, from SD cards. Try and let me know.

  The Debian/Mate that ships with the PBP,  can the Debian OS be updated with the GI .? (Or just 'Mrfixits' repository ?)
Does this edition come with the Debian security keys..?
  I noticed when I run the straight Debian on my laptop it includes the security keys with the installation.
 BUT,  when I installed Debian from the 'Non-Free' iso image the security keys are not included with the image,
 The non-free comes with the wifi drivers,  

but it is easier to manually install the wifi drivers than to try to find and install those security keys...!!!
I have NO experience with the arm processors so there may be a bit more differences.?
Will I be able to use 'Synaptic' to do driver installations ?
