What's the difference between board v2.2 and v2.3?
#1
Hi,
I got my new boards recently.
But I found the new one comes with v2.3
Just want to know what's the difference between v2.2 and v2.3?
Also, I found something interesting, when plugging the DC power,

my v2.3 board cannot boot all sopine module at the same time.
(Need try 2 ~ 3 times to bring all of them)

usually, 1 or 2 of them will stay off. (I use 50W DC power)

But v2.2 doesn't have such an issue. Any ideas?

Thx!

Sorry, no idea... I'll see if I can get an update for that... if there was any changes to the schematics that at least needs to be put up.

I don't seem to be suffering from that behaviour, but mine is a 2.2 also, running from the 5V dc terminals, with one of these 150W 24V -> 5v DC-DC step down modules (as I have 24V power running which it can tap into)... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DC-Voltage-R...2551055953

How do you determine they are not working? As I do notice occasionally the ethernet seems to drop out, or not work from boot, but the boards still boot up (I have a shell script that does a heartbeat flash on the GPIO led for the module once it boots, so even if it doesn't want to respond via ethernet I know it's actually up and running).

Hi,

While I have problems on my own with the board, I noticed something in your post:

I believe the recommended PSU from the Pine64 store is 5v 15A which makes it 75w.
Are you confident all modules receive sufficient power?
