Wires as power button
#1
Is possible to use two wires as Power and Reset Bottons? If so, in which holes I have to solder them? The more distant or closest?

If you're referring to the pc board pads, its the two closest to the edge of the board. You could certainly just use two wires without a switch, but I think you'll find that more of a hassle than you want, for a variety of reasons.

Yes, I know it. But I can't find this switch in my city. Definitely I will buy it on the net, but I need a temporary solution beacuse everytime I have to turn it off I have to disconnect the power supply. Thanks for the help

hi, I will point out also that the best solution is to use an actual switch for both power off button , and the reset button. Any momentary close switch will work, and may be fastened to the EXP header via jumper wires.

This is a duplicate thread (closing).
