Thx again so much Guyz and Girlz, I can finally see my screen! It was set to only about 10% brightness, so now at 60% is great, and increased all font sizes to 12pt! Some changes I made to appearance would not persist for some reason (like the home screen image), but that's not critical i can get to it later. If anybody thinks of me when wifi gets sorted out, plz let me know! Right now I have to take the tablet to the dining room table to be close enough to ethernet, so that's not ideal at all! Anyways, thx again for helps!
