How do you shut down Mobian?

Yanking the battery can corrupt the modem firmware

No idea why I can't long press the power button like every other phone.

After you login to the phone you can press on the battery icon in the top right, and the icon changes to a power button and you can power off from there.

Like @evilbunny wrote, "double" tapping the battery icon on the top left of the Phosh screen would help. Other than that, a simple shutdown -P now has always worked so far on any of those distributions.

I answered this in your other thread, but here you go again.

All Pinephones running the POSH interface like Mobian and many others, you shut down or restart by tapping on the top of the screen in the space between the time date and battery icon. When the notification/settings slider drops down you will see a power icon in the top right corner. select that and choose your option, lock screen, shut down, or restart.
