I will try the porting on Zephyr.
In case someone wants to dig into how the sensor works:
From the retro engineering done, it seems like the BMA421 would be a simpler variant of the BMA423.
Lucky for us the BMA423 has more infos about its inner working:

More important, it seems like the BMA421 is based on the Bosch "Wearable feature set". Which means we can use most (if not all) of the special features of this accelerometer.
