Rock64 with disk arrays
#1
Hi.
I want to make a small home server system which would mainly include Pine64 ROCK64 - Rockchip RK3328 Cortex A53 Quad-Core 1,2GHz + 2GB RAM and a RaidSonic IB-RD2253-U31 (2 x 2.5" Seagate Momentus 7200 HDD).
I've got info from RaidSonic that Linux is not supported by them, but I've read that someone connected a IB-3620U3 disk array to a Ubuntu OS easily.

So my question is ...  Will my configuration communicate and work?

I would love to get some help from you guys.

If Raidsonic official site started Linux not supported, then better don't used due to if any issue, they will not support.

I agree, that would be smart, but as I said, someone was able to connect their disk array with Pine64. Thats why I'm wondering if anyone tested it, and have reliable info about that idea.
Well ... if not, then can someone recommend me please a good small disk array that will work with Rock64? Which of course is still on the market and is not to pricey 50-70 Euro I would say. And is not on ebay or amazon, as for I prefer buying from shops, not second hand and stuff.

I would greatly appreciate Smile
