installation blues
#1
just got my first rock64 board, I used the tutorial of installing the EMMC chip with android (the update version) That all went fine but now when i try to boot it's stuck on the android logo, doesnt move for hours.

I'm not sure maybe I can try to install it again but I'm not able to get the device to show up on the pc now like i did before.

What can I do?

thanks,

Robert

Thats a serious problem in fact, the device itself isnt detected or you dont see the folder thing when you insert it (two different things)? if the device isnt detected anymore i suggest you focus first on why its not working at all, maybe a connection problem? maybe it just failed? tested it on a different pc?

Regular is broken. Only the Stock image and ATV work at the moment.
What OS are you running on your PC ?

Stock would be this one: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/ROCK64_...ndroid_7.x

It's the one that the pine64 guys have provided rather than one of ayufan's community builds.

Since you're on Windows, try the PINE64 Installer... you'll then be able to see all the images for the rock64 in one place, as well as then download and write them to your SD card / eMMC.

Again as i said previously if you dont even see the device you need to solve that first...absolutelly nothing happens when you plug the adapter with the emmc on the pc? no sound either? keep in mind that windows wont mount a drive if the emmc is formatted on any linux format but you should see a device on the device manager...
