Yes, the pads have programmable pullups and pulldowns;  whether they are active for I2C is another question.  You will need to check. This depends on the driver and the software being used;

do a search on i2c because unless they have incorporated a setup file one of the devs created a good while back you will need to execute this script in order to get i2c to function. here ya go, but not sure if still relevant,
